February 4, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85015 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ), saw Phoenix Christian's basketball squad knock off Glendale Prep Academy by a count of 75-59.
With the victory, Phoenix Christian upgrades its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ) to play the Wolves in a 2A Central challenge on Monday, February 6. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Mountainside lost 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ)
Next up, the Griffins play the North Pointe Prep Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Central challenge, on Monday, February 6. Glendale Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 84-31 league loss to Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ).
