February 4, 2023: Irrigon, OR 97844 The Irrigon Knights basketball team (Irrigon, OR), was overwhelmed 81-46 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR)
The Mustangs now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weston-McEwen for a 2A Blue Mountain battle on Friday, February 10. Heppner will battle a TigerScots team coming off a 58-55 league win over Grant Union (John Day, OR). The TigerScots record now stands at 12-11.
The Knights (3-17) will now prepare for their battle against Stanfield (Stanfield, OR). The Tigers come into the 2A Blue Mountain battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Stanfield trounced Enterprise (Enterprise, OR), 77-37, in a league battle.
