The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars basketball team (Baltimore, MD), was nudged 49-47 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC)

The Quakers now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Potomac School for a VISAA Division I battle on Thursday, February 9.

The Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Gilman (Baltimore, MD). The Greyhounds come into the MIAA A - Red battle with a 2-11 record.
