The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball toppled the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 57-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Redhawks now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Parkwood for a 2A/3A Rocky River bout on Wednesday, February 5. Monroe will play a Wolf Pack team coming off a 66-63 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Anson falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to play the Panthers in a 2A/3A Rocky River bout on Thursday, February 6.
