The Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Anson Bearcats to 64 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Charlotte for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Piedmont will confront a Lions team coming off a 71-58 non-league loss to Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Anson falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-8. Albemarle lost 71-57 in their recent non-league game against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)
