North Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont nips South Stanly

December 3, 2024: Norwood, NC 28128

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored a close 64-61 triumph over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Ravens go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Rocky River was tipped by Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC), 57-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls battle the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. South Stanly will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Colts go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 81-69 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
