The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Union Academy Cardinals to 48 in the Rowdy Rebel Bulls league triumph on Friday.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. South Stanly will play a Cougars team coming off a 71-42 league loss to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-11.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley contest, on Friday, January 24. Union Academy will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record.
