February 4, 2025: Norwood, NC 28128 The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting North Stanly Comets to 44 in the Rowdy Rebel Bulls league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Union Academy for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley game on Friday, February 7. South Stanly will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 73-28 league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, North Stanly falls to 17-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to confront the Tigers in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley game on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 13-8. Mount Pleasant won 76-41 in their recent league game against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
