In Tuesday's league contest, the host Willow Spring Storm basketball team scored a close 71-67 victory over the Cleveland Rams.

With the victory, Willow Spring advances its record to 13-6 on the year. The Storm travel to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to meet the Pirates in a 4A Greater Neuse River battle on Friday, February 7. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 2-17. Corinth Holders lost 71-43 in their recent league battle against South Garner (Garner, NC)
