North Carolina High School Basketball - Corinth Holders succumbs to Willow Spring

February 7, 2025: Wendell, NC 27591

In Friday's league test, the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) basketball squad defeated the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), by a score of 66-56.

Next, the Storm clash with the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a 4A Greater Neuse River test, on Saturday, February 8. Willow Spring will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 62-53 league win over Cleveland (Clayton, NC).

The Pirates (2-18) will now prepare for their test against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals come into the 4A Greater Neuse River test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Fuquay - Varina went down by South Garner (Garner, NC), 67-56, in a league test.
