February 4, 2025: Ira, TX 79527 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ira Bulldogs (Ira, TX) and the visiting Rankin Red Devils (Rankin, TX), observed Ira's basketball team edge Rankin by a margin of 63-60.
The Bulldogs (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland (Roscoe, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A Region II District 14 challenge with a 9-16 record.

Rankin will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 69-46 league win over Sanderson (Sanderson, TX).
