Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 81-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 15-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Desert Valley match on Tuesday, February 11. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 18-5.

The Mountain Lions now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boulder Creek for a 6A Desert Valley match on Friday, February 7. Mountain Ridge will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 76-43 league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 18-5.
