North Carolina High School Basketball - Bishop McGuinness overwhelms Bethany Community

The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Bethany Community Wolves to 24 in the Villains league triumph on Tuesday.

The Villains now possess a 18-0 record. They play next when they travel to Winston Salem Christian National for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Lions team coming off a 58-24 league win over Oak City Prep (Raleigh, NC). The Lions record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, Bethany Community falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 14-4. Clover Garden School won 32-24 in their recent league game against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC)
