The Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) basketball edged the host Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA), 43-39 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Live Oak for a bout on Friday, February 7. Gridley will play a Lions team coming off a 42-23 league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Lions record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Corning falls to 11-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Orland (Orland, CA) to play the Trojans in a bout on Thursday, February 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 18-6. Orland won 46-26 in their recent league bout against Oroville (Oroville, CA)
