February 5, 2022: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) and the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ), saw Scotch Plains-Fanwood's basketball squad hold off Elizabeth by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Scotch Plains-Fanwood improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Plainfield lost 66-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson (Clark, NJ)
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 7. Elizabeth will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 50-41 league loss to East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ).
