Iowa High School Basketball - CAM tops Ar-We-Va
February 5, 2024: Anita, IA 50020 CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), 68-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, CAM upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Nodaway Valley/Orient-Macksburg (Greenfield, IA) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The come into the bout with a record of 2-14. Nodaway Valley/Orient-Macksburg lost 103-56 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)
Next up, the Rockets play the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 12. Ar-We-Va will attempt to move on its 12-9 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 11-12 record after their 87-51 non-league loss to Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA).
