Iowa High School Basketball - Ar-We-Va thwarts West Harrison
January 29, 2024: Mondamin, IA 51557 The Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) basketball knocked off the host West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA), 63-53 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rockets (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Boyer Valley went down by Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA), 68-48, in a non-league test.
The Hawkeyes now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Woodbine for a Western Valley - South outing on Friday, February 2. West Harrison will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 51-39 non-league win over Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 17-2.
