Iowa High School Basketball - Paton-Churdan knocked off by West Harrison
January 23, 2024: Mondamin, IA 51557 The West Harrison Hawkeyes basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets to 53 in the Hawkeyes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hawkeyes now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Exira-EHK for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. West Harrison will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-56 non-league win over Panorama (Panora, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-4.
The Rockets (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Boyer Valley was defeated by CAM (Anita, IA), 76-55, in a non-league contest.
