Iowa High School Basketball - Woodbine crushes Paton-Churdan
February 5, 2024: Churdan, IA 50050 Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 68-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Woodbine upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Westwood (Sloan, IA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 14-11. Westwood won 65-54 in their recent league bout against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA)
Next up, the Rockets play the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats (Glidden, IA) in a Rolling Hills bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Paton-Churdan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 57-51 non-league loss to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA).
