Iowa High School Basketball - West Harrison nudges Glidden-Ralston
January 22, 2024: Glidden, IA 51443 West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Glidden-Ralston Wildcats (Glidden, IA), 45-43 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, West Harrison improves its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host Paton-Churdan (Churdan, IA) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Paton-Churdan lost 78-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Glidden-Ralston will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 66-55 non-league win over CAM (Anita, IA).
