The Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Galva Wildcats to 53 in the Spartans league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoxville for a Lincoln Trail contest on Tuesday, February 6. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will battle a Blue Bullets team coming off a 76-53 non-league win over Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 4-22.
The Wildcats (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Cougars enter the Lincoln Trail contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, ROWVA/Williamsfield was defeated by Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL), 49-46, in a non-league contest.
