January 5, 2024: Princeville, IL 61559 The Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans basketball team (Woodhull, IL), was overwhelmed 75-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL)
The Princes now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knoxville for a Lincoln Trail battle on Tuesday, January 9. Princeville will battle a Blue Bullets team coming off a 72-40 non-league loss to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 3-12.
The Spartans (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Galva (Galva, IL). The Wildcats come into the Lincoln Trail battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Galva was overwhelmed by Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL), 58-33, in a league battle.
