North Dakota High School Basketball - Watford City tops Killdeer
February 5, 2024: Killdeer, ND 58640 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Watford City Wolves (Watford City, ND) and the host Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND), saw Watford City's basketball squad knock off Killdeer by a count of 57-39.
With the victory, Watford City upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Trinity (Dickinson, ND) to play the Titans in a A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Trinity won 62-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Stanley (Stanley, ND)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND) in a A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Killdeer will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 68-30 league loss to Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND).
