North Dakota High School Basketball - Watford City overwhelms Standing Rock
February 10, 2024: Fort Yates, ND 58538 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Watford City Wolves (Watford City, ND) and the host Standing Rock Warriors (Fort Yates, ND), saw Watford City's basketball squad wallop Standing Rock by a tally of 58-34.
With the victory, Watford City improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Minot (Minot, ND) to confront the Magicians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Magicians come into the challenge with a record of 23-6. Minot won 81-49 in their recent league challenge against Jamestown (Jamestown, ND)
Next up, the Warriors confront the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Standing Rock will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 45-20 non-league loss to Winner (Winner, SD).
