Michigan High School Basketball - Kent City overwhelms Central Montcalm
February 5, 2025: Stanton, MI 48888 The Kent City Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Central Montcalm Hornets to 32 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now have a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tri County Area for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Kent City will confront a Vikings team coming off a 78-69 league loss to Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Central Montcalm falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Reed City (Reed City, MI) to confront the Coyotes in a Central State - Gold game on Tuesday, February 11. The Coyotes go into the game with a record of 4-15. Reed City lost 66-32 in their recent league game against Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI)
