Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI), 44-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Chippewa Hills advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Warriors host Farwell (Farwell, MI) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-6.

The Hornets now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kent City for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Central Montcalm will face a Eagles squad coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to Grant (Grant, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.
