Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI), 55-49 in a league battle.

With the victory, Chippewa Hills advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Clare (Clare, MI) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Monday, January 13. The Pioneers enter the battle with a record of 3-6. Clare won 50-41 in their recent league battle against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI)

The Vikings now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morley Stanwood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Tri County Area will meet a Mohawks squad coming off a 48-39 league win over Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Mohawks record now stands at 3-7.
