Michigan High School Basketball - Big Rapids overwhelms Tri County Area

January 31, 2025: Howard City, MI 49329

The Big Rapids Cardinals basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Tri County Area Vikings to 48 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Whitehall for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Big Rapids will confront a Vikings team coming off a 69-37 non-league loss to Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Tri County Area falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Vikings host White Cloud (White Cloud, MI) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Indians go into the game with a record of 9-6. White Cloud won 63-36 in their recent non-league game against Hesperia (Hesperia, MI)
