West Virginia High School Basketball - Midland Trail victorious over PikeView

February 5, 2025: Princeton, WV 24740

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Midland Trail Patriots basketball team scored a good 71-62 triumph over the PikeView Panthers.

The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clay County (Clay, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Clay County topped Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV), 73-60, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. PikeView will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 60-47 non-league loss to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV).
