February 5, 2025: Kincaid, IL 62531 Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Edinburg/South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL), 52-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Staunton advances its record to 20-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Litchfield (Litchfield, IL) to meet the Purple Panthers in a South Central match on Thursday, February 6. The Purple Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-14. Litchfield won 59-26 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL)
The Ponies now own a 15-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ramsey for a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. Edinburg/South Fork will meet a Rams squad coming off a 46-27 non-league loss to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The Rams record now stands at 5-13.
