February 6, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15209 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA) and the host Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Armstrong's basketball squad wallop Shaler Area by a tally of 61-35.
With the victory, Armstrong improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The River Hawks host Plum (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a WPIAL 5A 2 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Plum lost 83-69 in their recent league challenge against Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Titans confront the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 2 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Shaler Area will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Foxes come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 60-41 league win over Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA).
