Wisconsin High School Basketball - Baraboo can't hold off McFarland
February 6, 2024: McFarland, WI 53558 The McFarland Spartans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Baraboo Thunderbirds to 67 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stoughton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. McFarland will battle a Vikings team coming off a 61-32 non-league win over Portage (Portage, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 16-3.
The Thunderbirds (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Reedsburg (Reedsburg, WI). The Beavers come into the Badger - Small contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Reedsburg edged Edgewood (Madison, WI), 59-48, in a league contest.
