North Carolina High School Basketball - Brevard holds off Chase
February 6, 2024: Brevard, NC 28712 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) and the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), saw Brevard's basketball squad hold off Chase by a tally of 2-0.
With the victory, Brevard improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Patton (Morganton, NC) to confront the Panthers in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. Patton won 76-51 in their recent league challenge against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge, on Friday, February 9. Chase will attempt to improve on its 0-19 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 61-50 league loss to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
