Wisconsin High School Basketball - South Shore overwhelms Butternut
February 6, 2024: Butternut, WI 54514 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI) and the host Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI), saw South Shore's basketball squad wallop Butternut by a tally of 65-23.
With the victory, South Shore improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Drummond (Drummond, WI) to play the Lumberjacks in a Northern Lights challenge on Friday, February 9. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Drummond lost 77-36 in their recent league challenge against Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI)
Next up, the Midgets play the Bayfield Trollers (Bayfield, WI) in a Northern Lights test, on Thursday, February 8. Butternut will attempt to advance on its 0-18 season record.
