New York High School Basketball - Oswego overwhelms Central Square
February 6, 2024: Oswego, NY 13126 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oswego Bucs (Oswego, NY) and the visiting Central Square Redhawks (Central Square, NY), saw Oswego's basketball squad wallop Central Square by a tally of 68-43.
With the victory, Oswego improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Auburn (Auburn, NY) to confront the Maroons in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire challenge on Friday, February 9. The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Auburn lost 85-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY)
Next up, the Redhawks confront the Phoenix Firebirds (Phoenix, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 12. Central Square will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Firebirds come into the battle with a 10-5 record after their 72-51 non-league win over Canastota (Canastota, NY).
