February 6, 2024: Palmyra, VA 22963 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), saw Charlottesville's basketball squad overcome Fluvanna County by a tally of 80-62.
With the victory, Charlottesville improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Western Albemarle won 68-36 in their recent league challenge against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
Next up, the Flying Flucos confront the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Fluvanna County will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 52-49 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA).
