Tennessee High School Basketball - Christian Brothers thwarts Memphis University School
February 6, 2024: Memphis, TN 38166 The Christian Brothers Purple Wave (Memphis, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Memphis University School Owls (Memphis, TN), 53-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Purple Wave (14-10) will now prepare for their test against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles go into the Division II-AA West test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, St. Benedict at Auburndale went down by Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN), 78-45, in a league test.
The Owls now own a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to Briarcrest Christian for a Division II-AA West test on Friday, February 9. Memphis University School will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 78-45 league win over St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Saints record now stands at 23-4.
