The Memphis University Owls tipped the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team by a final score of 49-48 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Owls face the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN) in a Division II-AA West game, on Friday, February 2.
