Michigan High School Basketball - Eau Claire nips Countryside Academy
February 6, 2024: Eau Claire, MI 49111 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eau Claire Beavers (Eau Claire, MI) and the visiting Countryside Academy Cougar (Benton Harbor, MI), saw Eau Claire's basketball squad hold off Countryside Academy by a count of 69-63.
With the victory, Eau Claire upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Beavers host Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Saugatuck won 58-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Fennville (Fennville, MI)
Next up, the Cougar play the River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge, on Friday, February 9. Countryside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 82-30 league loss to Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI).
