The Salt Fork Storm basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Oakwood Comets to 39 in the Storm league triumph on Tuesday.

The Storm now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a Vermilion Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Salt Fork will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 69-29 league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 25-3.

The Comets (22-7) will now prepare for their contest against Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Hilltoppers enter the Vermilion Valley contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Schlarman was nudged by Westville (Westville, IL), 92-35, in a league contest.
