Michigan High School Basketball - Onekama fells Suttons Bay
February 6, 2024: Suttons Bay, MI 49682 Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI), 64-50 in a league bout.
With the win, Onekama upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Portagers host Glen Lake (Maple City, MI) to clash with the Lakers in a Northwest bout on Thursday, February 8. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Glen Lake won 70-25 in their recent league challenge against Leland (Leland, MI)
Next up, the Norsemen play the Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI) in a Northwest challenge, on Friday, February 9. Suttons Bay will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 66-34 league loss to Kingsley (Kingsley, MI).
