Minnesota High School Basketball - Southland overwhelms Schaeffer Academy
February 6, 2024: Adams, MN 55909 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) and the visiting Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN), saw Southland's basketball squad wallop Schaeffer Academy by a tally of 70-42.
With the victory, Southland improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN) to play the Lions in a A Section 1 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 19-1. Spring Grove won 80-38 in their recent league challenge against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN)
Next up, the Lions play the Grand Meadow Superlarks (Grand Meadow, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Schaeffer Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Superlarks come into the challenge with a 1-21 record after their 79-38 league loss to Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN).
