Louisiana High School Basketball - Walker topples St. Amant
February 6, 2024: Walker, LA 70785 In Tuesday's league outing, the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), by a margin of 69-60.
The Wildcats (15-16) will now prepare for their outing against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 27-5 record. In their last outing, Denham Springs defeated Dutchtown (Geismar, LA), 59-42, in a league outing.
The Gators now own a 23-9 record. They play next when they travel to Live Oak for a 5A District 5 outing on Thursday, February 8. St. Amant will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 63-61 league win over East Ascension (Gonzales, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 17-8.
