South Dakota High School Basketball - Riggs tops Huron
February 6, 2024: Pierre, SD 57501 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD) and the visiting Huron Tigers (Huron, SD), saw Riggs's basketball squad knock off Huron by a count of 58-45.
With the victory, Riggs upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Governors host Brookings (Brookings, SD) to play the Bobcats in a AA challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Brookings lost 52-35 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) in a AA challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 51-39 league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD).
