Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX), 25-17 in a league bout.

With the victory, Union Grove upgrades its record to 24-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Overton (Overton, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 14-13. Overton won 33-20 in their recent league bout against Carlisle (Price, TX)
