In Tuesday's league outing, the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), by a margin of 54-25.

The Cougars (15-10) will now prepare for their outing against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders go into the 4A Northern outing with a 3-15 record. In their last outing, Reed was trounced by Galena (Reno, NV), 53-38, in a league outing.

The Lancers now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Reno for a 4A Northern outing on Friday, February 9. McQueen will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 79-51 league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 9-14.
