Oklahoma High School Basketball - Strother triumphant over Bowlegs
February 6, 2025: Bowlegs, OK 74830 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) and the host Bowlegs Bison (Bowlegs, OK), observed Strother's basketball team overwhelm Bowlegs by a score of 72-40.
The Yellowjackets (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Paden (Paden, OK). The Pirates come into the Little River challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Paden trounced Depew (Depew, OK), 48-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bison encounter the Paoli Pugs (Paoli, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Bowlegs will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Pugs come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 43-29 non-league win over Oklahoma School for the Deaf (Sulphur, OK).
