In Thursday's league test, the Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad got by the visiting Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Gators (Bethesda, MD), by a final score of 50-48.

Next, the Maroon clash with the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Mighty Hoppers come into the test with a 2-15 record after their 91-30 league loss to Bullis (Potomac, MD).
