With the victory, La Vega advances its record to 15-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Lorena (Lorena, TX) to meet the Leopards in a 4A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, February 10. The Leopards enter the battle with a record of 13-17. Lorena won 55-47 in their recent league battle against China Spring (China Spring, TX)
The Cadets now own a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gatesville for a 4A Region III District 23 battle on Tuesday, February 10. Connally will battle a Hornets team coming off a 84-55 league win over Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 23-7.
