Texas High School Basketball - Jay bests MacArthur

February 6, 2026: San Antonio, TX 78217

The Jay Mustangs basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host MacArthur Brahmas to 65 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 14-13 record. They play next when they host Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, February 10. Jay will play a Indians team coming off a 78-75 league win over Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 17-10.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 11-16 on the season. The Brahmas travel to Southside (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, February 10. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 3-26. Southside lost 70-39 in their recent league test against South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)
